It works, but definitely not worth the price, and there’s a lot of improvements that could be made. The 4 pieces don’t attach together, so it makes it impossible to slide the bed around since it will just split apart. You also can’t attach a headboard to it. The whole thing is not very strong either. I walked across my bed and the wood on the platform cracked, twice! Now I’m worried the whole thing might break. I also wish they sold a bed skirt or frame cover since the bright white platform does not match my decor at all. But, I am happy to have something to lift my bed off the floor, even though the price is outrageous for what it is. I don’t see how they can charge as much for a boxspring as they do the mattress.

Started off speaking with Sandy who was amazing. She got everything ready for me then I had to delay my purchase. I called back a few weeks later and she was so nice about my delay acting like it was not a big deal. Get the threshold delivery, totally worth it. Day one with the bed even only being unpackaged for a few hours was extremely comfortable. Look forward to life with a massive bed. Would recommend this to anyone with a big enough space.
I am 6'6" and I have finally found my bed. We also let our dogs hang out on it. Just love it!
With a full pack of huskies that sleep with us this was the best decision we could have made. Quality great, ordering/self install as easy as it could be!

So glad that I purchased this bed! I bought one from a different shop a few years ago and was so disappointed in the mattress. I finally decided to get this one and it is AMAZING. We did the alaskan mini and it's the perfect size for our room. We have two humans and 2 small dogs that sleep in the bed. We have two labs that sleep on the headboard bed, but they often slide into our bed with us at night. We have plently of room and dont even notice them.
My husband gets very hot at night and since we've had this mattress he hasnt complained at all.
This bed is worth every penny. If you are debating it, just go ahead and get it.
We just got our bed and I'm sleeping way better now that we've got room for when a few of our beloved kids join us for the night. Worth every penny!
Love my new blanket! It’s light yet warm and covers my 3 XL bed. Can’t wait to get another color!
I love these sheets. I love how they feel and look. My husband loves these sheets. What I DON’T love is the weird water mark/stains that appear across them with EVERY touch. If my kids crawl on the bed after bath, water dries weird on them and leaves these marks across the bed. I’ve washed them and they come out with new spots each time. It’s super frustrating because the bed isn’t dirty but the material just doesn’t dry right. As much as these cost, it’s super disappointing. I’d give them another try and hope it was just a bad “batch” but I’m not paying full price again and customer service just suggests I wash the sheets (which I’ve done). I’m hoping the other materials are not this bad.

We understand your frustration regarding the marks you've described. Our customer service team did look into this when you reached out previously. Given the conflicting information we received regarding when and how these marks appeared (initially upon opening, then after contact with water), we've unfortunately reached a point where we couldn't identify a specific defect or provide a further resolution for this particular instance.
We stand by the quality of our products and want all our customers to be completely happy with their purchases. While we couldn't resolve this specific concern, we're confident in the quality of our sheets and have had overwhelmingly positive feedback on them.

Perfect and comfortable fit for family of 4! (Mom, dad, 16 mos, & 5 year old) No aches, pains, or discomfort if littles are still co sleeping.
The material is incredibly soft. It's lightweight enough that it's almost like a heavy sheet. Perfect for Summer.
This bed is so worth every penny spent, I am finally sleeping again, I was waking 4 to 5 times a night because I was in pain, now it's only once a night and right back to sleep. I'm not being woken by my husband's movement anymore. If you're a light sleeper and have a SO, get this bed.
Just received our mattress today. Looks like it will be great for our dogs.. Cant wait to have it all set up
It’s literally the largest bed you can find. With a large family we definitely needed more room. Especially when the kiddos crawl into bed in the middle of the night. We’re so happy we got the biggie and didn’t settle for anything smaller.

We are so glad we made this purchase. Being a tall man this has been a game changer and with the firm mattress we have both seen improvement in our backs and a quality of sleep. I also appreciate being able to go to the showroom in NC and see the example of the bed and mattress before the purchase. The Bamboo sheets are amazing as well (soft and cool).
Love the bamboo Alaskan King sheets! They are cooler than any other bamboo sheets I have. Excellent quality & the corners have a wide elastic support band to keep the sheets in place. Will be ordering another set!
After a couple of years of debating, we finally decided to make the purchase. We purchased size 108x108 medium Royale and platform bed. The Platform bed was extremely easy to assemble. It came with 4 box spring type platforms, and you just screw the legs to the bottom of them in all 4 corners and each platform section. The mattress was easy to unpackage. It is perfect for the family. We do sleep all together just because they are not little forever. It's not too hard not to soft and in my opinion, I like the feel of the medium. I wish we could have purchased a frame with the headboard, but this is just fine. We are so happy we chose Alaskan King Bed Co. And NO this is not a paid review lol. If you are debating, just do it.
